Brent was born in 1969. He was the son of Graham Bakken and Shirley Reid. He passed away in 2013.
Obituary of Brent James Bakken BRENT JAMES BAKKEN October 10, 1969 - June 5, 2013 Brent, beloved son of Graham and Shirley Bakken, passed away unexpectedly while visiting friends in Saskatoon, SK. He was predeceased by his grandparents Karl and Maisie Bakken and David Reid. Brent is survived by his parents; sister Tricia Bakken; special nephew Odin Brown; nieces Heidi and Erika Brown; uncle Stuart Bakken; auntie Donna Wiest (Dallas Wiest, Tanya and Henry Zeyen); uncle Doug (Caroline) Reid (Jessica and Brittany); and his grandmother Mildred Reid. He was a member of IBEW 2038 since June 1991 and worked as a journeyman electrician and welder throughout the province, recently working for Aecon Lockerbie Industrial at Rocanville, SK. Brent lived life to the fullest. His deepest passion was music and attending many concerts. Brent loved to travel, fish and golf. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Brent’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 - 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8.
