Biography

Marinus was born in Sirjansland on the 22nd of March, 1799, to parents Boudewijn Bakker and Anna de Jonge.[1]

He (20), farmer's hand, living in Sirjansland, married in Oosterland on the 20th of June, 1819 with Willemijntje van der Maas (25), born in Sirjansland, working as a dienstmeid, daughter of Marinus van der Maas and Adriana Vaane.[2]

Oosterland, June 20, 1819. Groom's father, farmer, living in Sirjansland. Groom's mother deceased. Bride's parents are deceased. Witnesses were Adrjaan Bakker (43), laborer, Adriaan de Jonge (53), farmer, uncle of the groom, Johannes van der Maas (29), brother of the bride, Jacobus Elenbaas (55), laborer, uncle of the bride. All four witnesses living in Sirjansland.[2]
