In 1920, Davie (12), was living in Highland, Illinois. He attended school. His father, John (46), He was a general farmer. His mother Gertrude (41) took care of the home and family. August (4), Mary (2) and Agnes (9 months) stayed home with their mom. Herbert (18) and Teddy (16) were farm laborers. Tunis (14), Edna (10), Peter (8) and Abraham (6) attended school. His grandfather, Herbert Ahon (73) a retired widow, was also living with the Bakker family. [2]
