Laura Ann died 9 October 1890 in Reading, Hillsdale County, Michigan and is buried there with her husband in the Bankers Cemetery. [1]
Research Note
The 1912 Olmsted genealogy lists her given name as Louisa and not Laura Ann. Both are possible and one may be the "nickname" for the other. Laura lived in Reading, Hillsdale, Michigan, United States in 1807 in case this can be used for her biography in the future.[2] She was a widow by this time and lived (apparently) with her children.
Note on her Find-a-Grave memorial, her parent's surname is spelled Balcam. The monument does not have either her married or birth last name, only "wife of H. O. Northrop."
