Biography
Robert was born about 1869. He is the son of Mabrey Baldwin and Nancy Gregory. His mother may have died giving birth to him or shortly afterwards, as she died in 1869. By 1870, the family had moved to Lee County, Mississippi.[1] He does not show up in the 1880 census with his father and siblings.
