Zachariah Baldwin, son of Richard Baldwin and Elizabeth Alsop, born in Milford, Conn., on September 22, 1660; and died May 31, 1722 in Milford, CT.[1] He married (1) Mary ATKINSON in 1679, Milford New Haven Conn., daughter of Luke ATKINSON and Mary PLATT.
For the town of Milford Conn., he was named Auditor in 1696, and Representative for fourteen sessions (1705-1718)
He died on May 31, 1722.
He married Elizabeth, widow of Ezekiel Sanford of Milford, her will dated May 22 1732, and proved April 6 1733. In 1693 she joined the church with her husband.

In his will, he gave his interest in Hogg meadow purchase to Zachariah; to his sons stephen and richard his home lot, and ebenzer went to new milford[2]
