Winthrop was the son of Rev Richard Baldwin and Mary Winthrop.
He was educated by Mr Brown and entered Trinity College Dublin on 15 May 1742, aged 16. Sch 1744, B.A. 1746, LL.B. 1749. [1]
Winthrop Baldwin married Mary Dorrill on 27 May 1756 at Hampton, Middlesex.[2]
He was buried on 18 August 1817 at St Peter & St Paul, Bath, Somerset.[3]
His will was proved on 5 September 1817 at London in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.[4]
