Biography
Susan Baldwin was the daughter of Samuel Baldwin and Susan Stanton Susan married Dr. Duncan McLachlen in 1863 while he was serving as a Union Army surgeon during the American Civil War. Dr. McLachlen died in 1864. Susan McLachlen applied for a widow's pension in 1864 shortly after her spouses death. There is no more information about what becamse of the widow Susan McLachlen after the end of the war.
