If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Hi, it's been a couple of weeks since asking if you wished to remain in the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'd appreciate you letting me know by the end of February if you desire to remain in the Project. If I haven't heard from you by then, I'll assume you no longer wish to participate. I hope to hear from you soon, thank you.

Hi Stan, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've done to improve the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello,

I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.

If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hello

It’s time for a Project check-in!

Scotland Project Leaders check in with you at least once a year to see how you are doing. With the changes happening around the world, we understand that life is hectic right now.

What are you planning to work on for the Scotland Project this year? Are you happy with the team(s) you part of, or would you like to make some changes?

This time round, we’re also looking for feedback on the use of Google Group and Discord. Do you use one or both of these? If you don’t use either of them, what is the best way to ensure you receive Project communications? If you would like to join us on Google Group or Discord, let us know in your response.

Hi Stan

I sent you a message a while ago on behalf of the England Project Leaders and have not heard back from you. I hope you are well.

One of the requirements of membership in the England Project is that you respond to the six-monthly check-ins.

I have assumed that you are no longer participating in the England Project and removed you from our list of members. You are, of course, most welcome to re-apply to join the project at any time by signing-up on the project’s G2G welcome post.

Thank you for all your work on the England Project!

Regards Joan

Hi Stan,

We have not received a reply from you regarding the message we recently sent about England Project. We hope you are OK. We realise that your interests could have moved on, and so if we do not hear from you by the end of December we will presume that you wish to be removed from the Project. You will be welcome to rejoin us at a later time if you wish.

Joan, Amy & Lizzie.

Hi Stan,

It's that time of the year again: check-in time! As England Project Leaders, we like to check in with you every six months or so to see how things are progressing. Back in May, we didn't ask for a response due to the rapid emergence of Covid-19 because we understood that people's lives were changing rapidly. While we are still living in a Covid world, we do need to hear back from you this time around.

First of all, how are you doing? What are you currently working on? Are you happy with the team(s) you're in, or would you like to change things up?

Secondly, we're looking for some feedback on the Google Group and our Discord server. Do you use either or both of these? If you don't use either, why not? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve participation and collaboration, either generally or for you personally?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Joan, Amy & Lizzie.

Hi Stan,

Your England Leaders are completing the six monthly check in with all team members. I wanted to thank you for your work on English Profiles. These are unprecedented and difficult times, and we understand as Project Leaders that your situation may have changed somewhat in the last few months. What we are all able to/ wish to contribute on Wikitree has changed. Please let me know if you are happy with your current role and team choice or if you wish to do something additional or different. Thank you again on behalf of all the project leaders for everything you do!

Kindest Regards, Amy Utting

Hi Stan,

On behalf of the England Leaders, I wanted to say a huge thank you for all your contributions towards the project in the past six months as a Team Member for Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Teams. We've achieved a great deal during this time and we couldn't have done it without you.

Are you happy to stay in your current teams and the project as a whole? Are there any other teams you'd like to join? What are we doing well, and what would you like to see us doing differently moving forwards?

Please respond to this message via e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks,

Susie, England Project Leader :-)

Hi Stan,

Welcome to the Staffordshire Team. Is there anything in particular that you’d like to get involved with? Our main activities at the moment are tackling the long list of Unsourced profiles for our county, and adding brief descriptions and links to the places listed in “Staffordshire, Places”.

Hi Stan,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Stan,

I’m Susie the new leader of the England Project. We are contacting all existing members of the project to find out how you are currently involved, and how you would like to be involved moving forward. Please have a look at the England Project page for more information, and then contact either myself or Gillian to let us know what you’d like to do, or if you have any questions. We can then list your interests, help you join the team in the Google group forum for England, and give you any help you might need to get going. If we don’t hear back from you we’ll assume you no longer want to be a part of the England Project at this time.

Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you,

Susie :-)

Stan...

I checked both my Wikitree Profile & Ancestry for Alan Baldwin, he is on both, so I am curious what you are talking about?

I met Benjamin Skeldon Baldwin when I was 7 yrs old. He drove into Pittsburgh, during the gas shortages, to my father's funeral. He was my Dad's 1st cousin, and he was alone. My family were all very impressed with him to make that trip at that time, it was the beginning of WW II. Evelyn Murray McKelvey (Murray-2307)

Hi Stan

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a project is encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles.

It looks like you have taken care of yourself and found great projects.!!

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

I am aware of the Lawrence connection; but I have not carried your other family any further. I was mainly looking for Benjamin Skeldon Baldwin, my father's 1st cousin. I had met him in the 1940's at my father's funeral when I was 7 yrs old. You and I are 3rd cousins.

Evelyn (Murray-2307)
