DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ephraim by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Ephraim:

Thanks, Diane! When I visited the Albany Rural Cemetery, the staff there felt that the card referencing "Mars, RI" was probably a mistake. There was no such town in Rhode Island as far as I can tell. Also, all of the documentation I have relating to Ephraim's parents (including the 1790 U.S. Census) make it likely that they resided in Dutchess County, New York during that period of time.

The burial card from the Albany Rural Cemetery indicates that this Ephraim Baldwin's place of birth was Dutchess County, New York. His father, also named Ephraim Baldwin, and mother Catherine Sears both resided in New York. I can't find any connection to Rhode Island.

Also, I believe that his first name should be spelled Ephraim and not Ephram.
