Levi Baldwin was born in 1740 in Parsippany, Morris, New Jersey. He passed away 17th April 1797 in Hanover, Essex County, New Jersey. He Married Rachel in 1767. They were second cousins.
At some point a DAR membership was approved on Levi Baldwin's service during the American Revolution. The patriot index has the following comments: Apprenticeship Agreements in 1783 in Richmond County, North Carolina proved Rachel Baldwin as mother of the children. Also says there is no proof that Levi Baldwin was same man who was in New Jersey in 1797. [1]
