Biography

Jessica was born in 1900. She passed away in 1981.

Birth

Jessica Primrose was born on 20 April 1900 in the Hackney Registration District of London^[1][2] In 1901 Jessica, aged 11 months, was living with her parents Thomas and Emma and four siblings: Thomas, William, Elizabeth and Edith, in Central Hackney, London. Thomas senior was working as an Upholsterer's Spring Maker^[3]

In 1911 Jessica was living with her widowed mother Emma, her father Thomas having died in 1909. Jessica now had two younger sisters, Florence Maud and Doris Eleanor but four of her siblings had died young. At this time Emma was working as a Laundry Maid, Elizabeth as a Blouse Finisher and Edith as a Cocoa Packer.^[4]

Marriage

Jessica married Lawrence White in 1922 in Hackney, London^[5] Jessica and Lawrence had three daughters: Joan in 1923, Audrey in 1924 and Mavis in 1929. In 1939 Jessica and Lawrence were living at 58 Coleridge Road, Wanstead and Woodford, Essex, England. Jessica was engaged in Unpaid Domestic Duties, Lawrence was working as a Builder and Decorator, Own Account. ^[6]

Later Years

Jessica's husband Lawrence died in Blackpool, Lancashire in 1968.

Death

Jessica had been living at 20 Idlewood Place Cleveleys, Lancashire^[7] before she died in Victoria Hospital, Blackpool on 12 September 1981^[8]
