Biography

On the marriage license the recorder has noted that Elkanah's father, Charles Davis, gave permission, because he was only 16. Lucinda was 14.

Lucinda was born in 1837. She passed away in 1911. [1]

On marriage records her husbands first name is spelled a variety of ways that include: Elcany, Elcona. On some of her children's birth records his name is spelled Elkany. On his grave stone it is spelled Elkanah.

Bales-1617 and Bales-1600 appear to represent the same person because: Married to the same person (on the same date, same location).

Birth dates are close. Children differ, may need to verify that she's the mother of both.
