Wenokia b. 15 Dec 1948 Caldwell, ID adopted at birth but dna shows she is my 1/2 sister on dads side.

email from Wenokia's daughter, Silba on Aug 3 2020

Love this. Mom (Wenokia) has dimples. :) and curly brown hair, with blue eyes. Robbie & Wenokia- named after mom (my older sisters) both have curly hair, I had straight hair like my father Robert G. Banks, but after I went through chemo and lost all of it, it grew back curly.

A bit about us:

Mom was born December 15th, 1948 in Caldwell, Idaho. She was adopted by George & Ethel Cusic who were not able to have any children. Grandma & Grandma Cusic adopted Beverly along with mom. Beverly had a different birth family, I believe she passed away in 1999. Moms birth mother was Doris Mae Williams, she passed away a few years ago, mom never met her. Doris had one son Richard that she kept before Mom, then Mom was born two years later, and given up for adoption. She went on to have 4 more children after Mom was born. Doris never told her children about Mom they were very surprised when we found them.

Moms extended adoptive family was very loving and caring to Mom her whole life.

Mom married my father- Robert G. Banks I don't recall what year...I'm thinking 1967 in Vancouver, Wa., they were married about 18 years or so, before divorcing. Mom remarried our step-dad Jack in December of 1998, they are still married. Mom currently lives in Camas, Wa. with Jack and her dog Frisk. Mom names her animals' after words she can pronounce. :) Wenokia had three daughters-

Robbie (Married to Bill) born in 1969 currently living in North Bonneville, Wa. Robbie had 4 children Shade, Chant, Rhett & Khess. Chant is married and has two children.

Wenokia (Married to Jason)born in 1972 currently living in Camas, Wa. Wenokia has 1 daughter Roxanne who is married and has one child.

Silba (Married to Shawn) born in 1975 currently living in Camas, Wa. I have 3 daughters Sadie, Skylee & Shelby. Sadie is married, with no children.

Mom worked for many years at Hewlett Packard in Vancouver, Wa. on the assembly line until an on the job injury forced retirement.

Hi Deb,

We haven’t heard back from you concerning the Scottish Clans Transition. If we haven’t received a response from you by 28 March 2020, you will be welcome to rejoin by answering the current g2g thread for joining the Scotland Project.

Hello Deb,

My name is Sarah and I’m the Project Coordinator for the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Sarah Mason, Scotland PC

Hi Deb,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Deb,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Deb and thanks for your post on G2G. Sorry for delay in replying.

I've added the UK and Scottish Clans Project badges to your profile. If you click on each badge it will take you to the full list of our wonderful members. Click on United Kingdom Project will take you the first page of the project. Scroll down to participants. I've added your good self and your Country of interest etc. I've also added you to the Scotland Project member interests pages.

I've done likewise for the Scottish Clans Project

Thanks for joining, enjoy and good luck with your research. Maria
