Biography

Emelia Balfour was the daughter of Major Hon. Henry Balfour of Dunbog, county of Fife, Scotland. She was born about 1703, probably in the parish of Dunbog.^[1][2]

Emelia married David Clephan of Carslogie in the parish of Dunbog, county of Fife, Scotland on 31 October 1728.^[3]

Emelia was 73 years old when she died on 30 December 1776 in Anstruther-Easter parish, in the county of Fife, Scotland. She was buried there on 3 January 1777. ^{[4][5][6] [7]}
