Biography
Archibald Balfour was born at about 3 AM on April 6, 1873, in Chapelhall, in the Parish of Bothwell, to Archibald Balfour, Coal miner, deceased, and Helen Balfour, formerly Gibbs, M.S. Martin, who were married October 3, 1853, in Chapelhall. The informant to the registrar was ______ McGill, Grand Uncle, of Chapelhall. The birth was registered on May 26, 1873, in the District of Holytown, by William Richard, Registrar. [1][2]
