Biography

"Funeral services for Eva Nancy Holtkamp, 75, will be at 2:30 this afternoon (April 8) with the Rev. Ralph Hensley of Silver City officiating at the Wheeler Chapel. Mrs. Holtkamp, a longtime rancher in Hidalgo County near Cotton City, died Monday, April 5, at Mimbres Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1900, in Elton, N.M. Mrs. Holtkamp was a member of the Valley View Presbyterian Church. Pallbearers will be Max DeVillbis, John Davis, Leon Samples, Allen Kerr, Edison Weatherby and Hersf K. Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Tyler, D.A. Lee, Fred Kerr Jr., Murle Mahan, Russell Walters, Bill Kerr, Sam Allen, Bill Veck, Jackie McCant, Fred Kerr Sr., Art Blanscet, A.C.
