Biography
Sarah J Ball was born in 1841 in Louisiana, her father, John Warren Ball (1803-1866) and her mother, Mary Ann “Polly” Rester (1809-1894). She married Robert Patten on 9 Jan 1854 in Washington, Louisiana. She died in 1879 at the age of 38, and was buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Angie, Washington Parish, Louisiana.
