3. Lois Atheal Peyton was born September 25, 1887 near Troy Mills, Linn County, Iowa. Lois was married to Guy ____ Kirby on _____ __, 19__ in Hanford. Guy died _____ __, 1939 and is buried Hanford, California. Lois may have died on December 25, 1991, age 104. Lois's children Kenneth ____ Kirby, Joan ____ Kirby, Barbara ____ Kirby. (I had called Lois in 1980 but she had just lost a daughter and was not able to talk.)
4. Ray Hillman Peyton was born June 1, 1890 near Troy Mills, Linn County, Iowa. He died July 7, 1967 in Hanford, California.

Troy Mills-Mrs. Stella Peyton, 73 of California, well known and highly regarded resident of Hanford, California for the past 19 years passed away January 18, at a hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Peyton who was installed as president of the McPherson Post No. 97, Womens's Relief Corps, only last Saturday was suddenly stricken with acute appendicitis Wednesday night and was taken to the hospital for an emergency operstion in which despite the effors of the physicians she passed away at 4'clock Friday morning January 18, 1934. Born in Iowa near Troy Mills, Mrs. Peyton came to California 20 years ago and 19 years ago moved to Hanford, California. She has resided at 215 East Tenth for the past 17 years. Her husband, a retired rancher died about two years ago. In addition, to her association with the Women's Relief Corps, Mrs. Peyton was a member of the First Christian Church and was also a member of clubs in Hanford. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Guy Kirby (Lois Althea Peyton) of Hanford, California and three sons Ray Hillman Peyton of Hanford, California, Ashley Edmund Peyton of Pasadena, California, Jesse Clarence Peyton of San Luis Obispo, California: two sisters, Mrs. J___ B_____ Caldwell of Los Angeles, California; and Mrs. Mable Walton of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Funeral services were held January 20, at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the chapel of the Peoples Undertaker Parlors with the Rev. Harry Tuttle officiating. Burial was in Hanford Cemetery. Members of the W.R.C. attended the services in a body.
Mrs. Stewart Austin Keller received word last week of the death of her aunt, Mrs. Stella Ball Peyton, a former resident of this vicinity, now of Hanford, California. Mrs. Stella Peyton, 72, of 215 East Tenth Street, well known and highly regarded resident of Hanford, California, for the past nineteen years, passed away early Yesterday morning at a local hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Mrs. Peyton, who was installed as president of the McPherson Post no. 97. Her husband, a retired rancher , preceded her in death two years ago. In addition to her association with the Women's Relief Corps, Mrs. Peyton was a member of the First Christian Church and also a member of several clubs in Hanford. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Guy Kirby, of Hanford; three sons, Ray D. Peyton, of Hanford, J. C. Peyton, San Luis Obispo, and A. E. Peyton, of Pasadena; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Caldwell, of Lois Angeles, and Mrs. Mabel Walton of Council Bluffs. Mrs. Peyton was one of the older pionees of this community and has many relatives and friends here who were sorry to hear of her death. Burial was at her home cemetery at Hanford.
