Mary (Ball) Ryland was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Mary Ball (married name Ryland) was born in 1869 in Newstead, Victoria, daughter of Jane (Tucker) Ball and John Weeks Ball.^[1]

She married Richard Simon Peter Ryland on 4 September 1895 in Victoria.^[2][3] Their children were:

• Dulcie Alice Ryland (1899–?)
• Arthur Ryland (1900–1981)
• Gladys Amy Ryland (1906–?)

Mary died, aged 79, on 12 September 1948 at her residence, Balgary, Alto Avenue, Croydon, Victoria.^{[4][5] [6]}
