I have 3 ancestors that fought first with the Culpeper Minutemen and the later with the 2nd Virginia Regiment.
I'm interested in discovering who the parents are of Philip Ballard b. 1706 in Essex county, Virginia in order to bridge to the Ballard's of England.
My grandfather served in W.W. I, in the 131st infantry, Company K as the company cook.
I have many ancestors that fought in almost every major conflict.
Several ancestors are of interest in this project.
I have serveral ancestors that fought in the Civil War on both sides of the conflict.
My family comes from West Virginia. They migrated from Virginia to what is now West Virginia.
DNA Tested
