Biography

Edward Ballinger was born in 1773 in Virginia[1] to James Ballinger and Dorcus Dodson.

On December 16, 1793, Edward married Nancy Edwards in Halifax County, Virginia.[2]

According to the 1850 census, James lived with Nancy in Boone County, Missouri.[1]

James died around 1855 in Boone County. His son Elijah was appointed the Administrator of James's estate on May 24, 1855.[4]
