Sarah was born about 1786. She is the daughter of Achilles Ballinger and Mildred Hudson.
From Find A Grave website: She was the daughter of Achilles and Milly (Hudson) Ballinger. She moved to Garrard County, Kentucky as a very small child. She married Solomon Carter on 02/19/1813 in Garrard County, Kentucky. The family lived in Lincoln County and migrated, in 1838, to Marion County, Missouri. She was the Mother of nine known children: 1. Lucretia born 06/01/1814. 2. Eastham born 12/8/1815. 3. Demetrus born 08/25/1817. 4. Henry P. born 04/24/1919. 5. Mildred born 10/25/1820. 6. Angeline born 10/5/1822. 7. James born 09/29/1824. 8. Achilles born 07/22/1826. 9. Peter born 1830. Buried at Turpin Cemetery, Emerson, Marion County, Missouri.
