Biography

Thomas was born in 1759. He passed away in 1809.

Thomas Ballou (1759-1809), served as a corporal in Capt. Charles Fleming's company of foot, 1777. He was born in Cumberland County and died in Halifax Co., Va.

John Hobson served as a private in the Second Virginia State Regiment, 1778, under Col. William Brent. He was born in Cumberland County and died 1826.
