Biography

Mary Ann Balman was born in about 1840 in Swimbridge, Devon.

Mary Ann married John Smallridge in 1863 in South Molton district.

John died on 8 Feb 1895, aged 57, at his home in Binscombe, Godalming, Surrey. He was buried on 15 Feb 1895 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the unconsecrated section. His occupation was given in the burial record as farmer.

Mary Ann died on 19 Jan 1901, aged 62, at her home in Binscombe. She was buried on 23 Jan 1901 with her husband.
