In 1905 the Balmer family lived in Brooklyn, Kings, New York, USA [1] Irish born parents George Balmer (42) Laborer with wife Dina Balmer (40) and USA born children Sarah Balmer (5), Marion Balmer (3), George Balmer (2) & Mable Balmer (4/12) and boarder, Irish born David McDonald (40) Laborer.

On 23 April 1910 the Balmer family lived at 214 Gold St, Brooklyn Ward 5, Kings, New York. Irish born parents George Balmer (42) Naturalized Laborer (Railroad Shop) with wife Dinah Balmer (40) married 11 years 6 children born /5 living and children Margaret Balmer (10), Marion Balmer (8), George Balmer Jr. (7), Mabel Balmer (5) and John Balmer (1). Sister Marion Balmer and George Balmer were Baptised on 13 November 1910 at City Mission Society, New York, New York, USA. [3]

On 8 April 1930 George Balmer (27) Clerk (Life Insurance), widowed mother Dinah Balmer (64), sister Margaret S Burt (30) and New York born brother-in-law Herman C Burt (34) Manager (Postal Telegraph) lived in Beverly Road, Brooklyn, Kings, New York, USA. [4]
