  • 1870 Census of the United States, William lived in the household of his parents, John Jefferson Bandy [[Bandy-770 age 23, his mother Parthena Aliff Myrick Bandy [[Myrick-566 William was 3 years old, his brother Allen was 10 months. The family was living in Precinct 3, Bandera, Bandera, Texas, United States. His father was a Teamster.
  • 1880 Census has the family in Precint 3, Uvedale, Texas, United States. The family has grown. John [[Bandy-770 age 35, and Aliff [[Myrick-566 age 27, now had 5 children. William age 12, Sarah Ella age 11, James L. age 9, Emma H. age 6 and John F. age 2. John [[Bandy-770 had boils and was not working as a Teamster at the time. He was a Farmer ( he had his farm, even while he worked as a Teamster.)
