Biography

Joseph Bangs was born January 30, 1712/13, the son of Samuel Bangs and Mary Hinkley of Harwich, Massachusetts^{[1] [2] [3]}

On September 18, 1735, he married Thankful Hamlin, the daughter of Ebenezer and Thankful Hamlin/Hamblen^{[4] [2] [3] [5]}. Their intention to marry was published July 5, 1735 ^[6]
