Sarah Bangs was born on October 23, 1716, in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay, New England.[1] She was the daughter of Samuel Bangs and Mary Hinckley. Her father was a Sea Captain from Brewster Parish, Barnstable (Cape Cod), Massachusetts Bay.[2]
Sarah Bangs married Jonathan Snow, b. Dec. 22, 1709, on 24 February 1737, in Harwich, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts Bay Province, New England. They had 10 children together, including some that never reached maturity:[3][4]

Jonathan Snow and Sarah (Bangs) Snow lived their whole lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Jonathan died in Harwich, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, USA, on May 20, 1787; he was 77 years old. His will was proven there on June 7, 1787. Sarah (Bangs) Snow, survived him. She died on August 9, 1794 in Harwich, Massachusetts, USA.[5]
