Biography

Sarah Bangs was born on October 23, 1716, in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts Bay, New England.^[1] She was the daughter of Samuel Bangs and Mary Hinckley. Her father was a Sea Captain from Brewster Parish, Barnstable (Cape Cod), Massachusetts Bay.^[2]

Sarah Bangs married Jonathan Snow, b. Dec. 22, 1709, on 24 February 1737, in Harwich, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts Bay Province, New England. They had 10 children together, including some that never reached maturity:^{[3] [4]}
