Biography

Note: Bernard Alfred's birth certificate lists Ella's name as Mary Ella Banks.

Daughter of Ezekiel Banks and Elizabeth Ward. According to her marriage record, Ella was 21 at the time of her wedding in 1867. The Digby museum has additional family information under the names Marshall.[1]

I am wondering if the birth date could be wrong, as her father had married Elizabeth Ward and had 2 children, born 1844 and 1852. There is no marriage date currently available and no death date for Elizabeth Parker.
