Biography

Claude was born[1] in 1910. In 1936, he married[2] Marenda Maria. He died in 1997[3]. His obituary[4] noted:

BANKS, Claude Wilson - 87, Kingston, died April 11, 1997, at home. Born in Torbrook Mines, he was a son of the late Joseph D. and Amy (Demont) Banks. He was a veteran of Second World War. He was a former employee of CE Section, CFB Greenwood, and a farmer. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 1. Surviving are son, John, North Kingston; two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Marenda Dorey; brothers, Merle, Leon, Chester, Jack.
