Margaret was born in 1850. She was the daughter of John Bannantyne and Mary Clark. ^[1]

According to the 1900 US Census she immigrated to the United States in 1876 and married Neil McNaughton in 1877. ^[2]

She was naturalized and became a citizen in 1929. ^[3]

Margaret passed away in 1937. ^[4]
