On 01 Jun 1934, he married Marie Bryson in Anderson County[3], and they made their home in Mountville, Laurens County, South Carolina. where they had two sons:[4]

Rolly passed away on 20 Oct 1960 in Mountville [5]and lies buried in Mountville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mountville, Laurens County, SC.[6]
