Thibaud de Bar was the son of Thibaud II, comte de Bar, and his second wife Jeanne de Toucy.[1] He was appointed bishop of Liège after Adolphe de Waldege who died in 1302. He was killed during a sedition in Rome on 13 May 1312.[1]
