Biography

Joyce was born in 1921. She was the daughter of George Barber and Daisy Watts. [1]

Secretary to Ramsome, Simms & Jefferies sales director, and performed air raid duty during the war.

Sailed from Southampton on the SS 'Queen Elizabeth' on the 7th Dec 1946 for New York arriving on the 12th. She was in America for 6 months [2] [3]

John M Williams married Joyce Barber 9 Oct 1948 in Ipswich. John died in 1950 [4]

Edwin George Garrood married Joyce Barber in 1954, Ipswich [5]

She passed away aged 93 in 2015.
