Obituary

E. Morley Barber, well known coal merchant in Galt, Died suddently at his residence last night. Mr. Barber had been suffering from a heart condition some time, but last night he suffered a severe attach and died before he could be removed to hospital.

He was born in Listowel and after spending 16 years in Calgary, Alberta, he moved to Galt in 1927. For eight of the years he spent in Calgary he was associated with the Manufacturere' Life Assurance Co. For the past 25 years he has been the Canadian representative of the J. W. Dykstra Coal Co. of Detroit.

He attended Knox's Presbyterian Church in Galt. Mrs[?] Barber was keenly interested in baseball, and was also an ardent fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, three sisters and two brothers.

Mr. Barber is resting at the residence, 157 Grand Avenue Sout until Friday when funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm. Internment will take place at the Mount View Cemetery.
