Not a lot is known about William.
Located a William Angwin applying to enlist in the Australian Imperial Forces 0n the 29/10/1918. These documents caught my attention due to the next of Kin, birth place and birth year. When reading the documents his father has been registered as John Angwin c/- Hindmarsh, Adelaide, South Australia.
Interestingly when talking to Margaret Harton nee Morley, she was able to confirm that John Angwin did live in Hindmarsh and Ethel went to school there.
William has also stated that he was born in Broken Hill, the only concern is his day and month of his birth. on the AIF application documents it is 5 July1898 whereas his birth dates should read 13 August 1898.
Margaret Harton nee Morley also added that she thought William may have lived in Cowra, interestingly Williams application was done in Nowra.
