Sarah, the second daughter and sixth of six children of Samuel Barber and Sarah Holcombe was born on 1 April 1722 at Windsor, Connecticut.[1][2][3]
Sarah married Capt. John Case IV, the son of John and Abigail (Case) Humphrey III on 7 November 1745 at Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut.[4]Sarah and John had eleven children:

Sarah (Barber) Case died on 19 December 1805 in her 84th year at Simsbury.[16]She is buried in the Simsbury Cemetery at Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut.[17]
