Biography

Calogero Barbera died young.

Calogero was born in 1844 and died between 1851 and April 1854. He was the son of Nunzio Barbera and Anna Maria Campo. He was the last of a long string of non-surviving children born to Anna Maria Campo. His father remarried within 2 years of his birth.

Calogero was named for his maternal grandfather, Calogero Campo.

Margherita, on 28 November 1844 at hour 12 in the father's house. The same has furthermore declared they give the newborn the name of Calogero.
  • Death: the name Calogero was given to a younger half-brother in 1854. Calogero's younger half-brother Vito was born in 1851, implying that the older Calogero was still living at that time or Vito would have been named Calogero.
