Biography

Viola Ruth Barbour was the daughter of Beurl Leland Barbour and Julia Francis Morris Barbour.^[1][2] She was born in Ohio between 1909^[1] and 1913.^[3] On 16 July 1930, she married Aaron Bobo in Bowling Green, Wood County, Ohio.^[1][4]

She was married to Alfred William Hoag on 5 Jul 1935 in Marion, Marion County, Ohio, by James A. Fisher, a Presbyterian Minister.^[2]

Viola and Alfred had at least one child, Alfred William Hoag, Jr., born 2 Jan 1936 in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.^[5] The family moved back to Alfred Sr's home state of New Jersey sometime after 1935.^[3] They divorced before June 1945 when Viola married James T Jones in Lucas County, Ohio.^[6]

According to one of her granddaughters, she died in July 1975.^[7], probably in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, USA.^[8][9]
