Biography

Marie Eliza Emma Bard was born 21 Dec 1848 and baptized the next day in Saint-Pascal parish, Kamouraska. She was the daughter of Zéphirin Bard, farmer, and his wife Elizabeth Roy (named Eliza DesJardins in baptismal record}. Godparents at Emma's baptism were Pierre Roy and Marie Lavoie.
