Biography

I have seen Catherine listed as the child of two separate families but do not currently have the records to attach/confirm which family.

Most genealogy trees attribute Catherine to the later family.

Catherine is born in Tenessee, moves to Missouri sometimes between 1845 and 1847. Her husband dies in 1857 and she is living with her 6 younger children (5 of them daughters) next door to son William.

By 1880, she is living in Iowa with the family of her youngest daughter, Julia.
