Mrs. Ledora (Barfield) Britt died at a local hospital at 6:15 Wednesday P.M. from a short illness at the age of 37. She was born in Emanuel County, and was the daughter of Mrs. Frances (Boatright) Barfield. Other than her mother she is survived by four children..., two sisters.... and Six brothers. Funeral services were held from Hawhammock church at 11 a.m. Tuesday Internment was in the church cemetery, with DeLoach's Mortuary in charge of the arrangements.
