Looking at the profiles, there may be some doubt that the John and Lucie Barfield who were married in Wiltshire, in 1620, are the same people as the John and Ellen Barfield who baptized a child, John (Jon?), in Middlesex, in 1638. There appears to be a Lucie Sheppard in Wiltshire records, but no "Lucie Ellen". That middle names weren't generally given in this era, and the unexplained difference in the presumed mothers name, with a spread of time and geography indicates the need for clarification. Thank you for any insight.

I think the biography for John Barfield/Barefield (1595), should be clarified that it was his son, John (Jon) Barefield (1630), that immigrated to Virginia in 1653, not the nearly 60 year old father.
