Biography

Christina was born in 1810. She was the daughter of Henry Barger and Mary Bruner. She passed away in 1877 at the age of 67 Yrs & 2 Days.

When Christina Barger was born on November 27, 1810, in Rowan, North Carolina, her father, Henry Barger, was 23, and her mother, Mary Bruner Barger, was 19. Christina married Jehu Pyles Steele on August 27,1829 in Henderson County, Tennessee. They had 11 children together. She then married Hiram Medlock in 1856 in Arkansas. She died on November 25, 1877, in Prescott, Arkansas, at the age of 66, and was buried there.
