Cornelius was born in 1736. He is the son of Johannes Hans Barheyt and Cornelia Pootman.

Cornelius Barhydt was born in 1736. He is the son of Johannes Barhydt and Cornelia Putnam. He passed away after 1820.

Baptism: 21 December 1737 at Schenectady, Albany, New York as given in the DAR patriot index.

Cornelius Barhydt served as a Private in the Albany New York Militia with Captains Jesse Van Slyck, Thomas Wasson and Jesse Fonda and Colonel Abraham Wemple. His wife is Rachel Yates. Children named John, Cornelia, Helen. [1]
