Biography
Derk Borklo was baptized on 7 Apr 1745 in Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey, the son of Cornelius Barkalow and Jannetje Aumack. [1]
He married Sarah Joana Couwenhoven and the had children:
- Cornelius D Barkalow (1781-1850)[2]
- Mathias Barcalow (bp. 24 Jun 1787 in Monmouth, New Jersey)[3]
He passed away in 1828. [4]

The witness Jannetje was Cornelius' mother. Presumably the child was named after Cornelius' father who died the year before.]
