Deborah's husband had, prior to their marriage, been in service to her father to learn the trade of a brick-layer; his service had ended in the year 1645. Soon after their marriage, this couple went to Middleborough, MA and then to Barnstable, MA where they remained about 20 years and where they had nearly all of their children. From there they returned to Middleborough; Deborah was dismissed from the Barnstable Church to Middleborough in 1683.
