Biography

On 20 Jan 1903, Ralph Hagar Barker was born in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois to Frank William Barker (born in Natick, MA) and Ethel Grace Hagar (born in Shelburne Co., Canada). ^[1]

On 12 Jan 1920 at the time of the 1920 US Census, head of household Frank W. Barker (age 42, born in MA) was employed as a House Carpenter and living in a home he owned free of mortgage in Dash Point, Pierce, Washington with his wife Ethel G. Barker (age 39, born in Canada), their son Ralph H. Barker (age 16, born in IL), son Robert L. Barker (age 14, born in IL), and son William L. Barker (age 7). Ethel immigrated in 1892 and was naturalized in 1902. Frank's father was born in Maine and his mother in Massachusetts; Ethel's parents were both born in Canada. Ralph was working as a Shipyard Riveter. ^[2]
