Biography
United States Census, 1850 Missouri Cedar Cedar county, lists John Taylor in household 459, Joseph Taylor which should be Barkley in household 460 and Henry Emerson in household 461. Joseph Taylor is clearly Joseph Barkley, wife Barbara, spelled Barbray, William C. Barkley, Francis Marion Barkley. Susannah Emerson, half sister of Joseph Barkley married John Taylor 26 March 1844 in Mound Pleasant, Iowa.
